2023 Aicon 66 Vivere for Sale: A Captain's Look at CALOGERO

CALOGERO is a 2023 Aicon 66 Vivere for sale in Fort Lauderdale. She's set up for an owner who wants to run the boat
themselves, bring the family along and add a crew member when trips get bigger. Here's what matters on this boat and what I'd
want you to know before you step aboard.

Why the Aicon 66 Vivere Stands Apart

Aicon builds in Messina, Sicily. The 66 Vivere was the first model of Aicon's relaunch, introduced in 2022, and CALOGERO was
delivered as a "Vivere Aicon" Custom Edition with a long list of factory options.

If you're comparing every 66-foot flybridge yacht for sale right now, two features stand out on this one. A skylight in the flybridge
sends daylight straight down into the saloon, and in the master, the hull windows are enlarged to 1.5 meters on each side. You
wake up with the sea at eye level.

Step aboard and you notice the light first. Curved glass doors open the cockpit to the saloon, and the helm sits under its own
overhead glass. She feels less like a 66-foot yacht and more like an open-plan home on the water.

Performance: What the Engine Package Means for You

CALOGERO has the builder's top engine option: twin MAN V8 diesels at 1,300 hp each, with approximately 450 hours. With this
package, Aicon publishes a cruising speed of about 27 knots and a top speed of about 31 knots. She carries roughly 1,057 gallons
of fuel.

What that means: leave Port Everglades after breakfast and, at published cruise, you can be tied up in Bimini about two hours
later. Stretch it to a long weekend, and the Berry Islands are an easy run. The Exumas are within reach with a fuel stop in Nassau.

Power runs through ZF transmissions to inboard shaft-line V-drives. That means conventional shafts and propellers, not pod
drives. As an owner, I like that. It's a proven setup and straightforward to service.

The hull is a deep-V designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro-Tec, with a sharp entry built to handle a head sea. Electric stabilizing fins
keep her steady at rest and underway. An Interceptor trim system with an added Zipwake control panel lets you fine-tune her
running angle as conditions change.

Set Up for the Owner Who Drives

I spent years running boats as a captain before I ever sold one, so I pay close attention to what makes a yacht easy to handle with
a small crew.

CALOGERO has 10-kilowatt bow and stern thrusters, semi-automatic side doors port and starboard, and cameras on the transom
and in the engine room. That makes docking with one or two people aboard a calmer job. At the main helm, upgraded Garmin
electronics with dual 16-inch displays, 36-nautical-mile radar and autopilot keep the picture clear.

Layout: Three Ensuite Staterooms and a Separate Crew Cabin

The main deck runs as one open level from the cockpit doors to the helm. The galley sits between the saloon and the helm, so
whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. Mt. Etna stone flooring, a stone sink and Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers give it
the finish of a serious kitchen.

Below are three ensuite guest staterooms. The full-beam master sits amidships, where motion is lowest, with a walk-in
wardrobe, lounge seating, a vanity desk, a private refrigerator and a washer-dryer.

The forward VIP has a centerline island double, and both the master and VIP bathrooms are finished in lava stone from Mt. Etna.
The twin stateroom works well for kids or guests.

The crew cabin, with its own head, sits aft of the engine room. That separation matters. When you bring on a captain or crew
member, their space stays apart from your guests. The air conditioning was also upgraded to 100,000 BTU from the standard
72,000, which matters in a Florida or Caribbean summer.

The Flybridge and Life at the Waterline

The rigid hardtop is an upgrade over the standard rollbar. It shades an upper helm with twin seats and a wet bar with a Kenyon
grill, refrigerator, ice chest and ice maker. There's also an L-shaped lounge around a marble-insert dining table, with open deck
aft for loose furniture.

At the waterline, the teak swim platform doubles as a hydraulic tender lift, upgraded to 1,000 kg capacity from the standard 600
kg. That's enough for a larger tender or a full set of water toys. A stern rain shower, three underwater lights, and a cockpit sink
and refrigerator mean nobody has to walk to the galley mid-swim.

Condition and Service History: What You Should Know

2023 Aicon 66 Vivere

This is the part I always tell buyers to focus on. A good-looking boat is easy to find. Knowing her history is what protects you.

In October 2026, N&G Engineering of Hollywood, Florida completed routine service on both main engines, both transmissions
and both generators. The work included oil samples sent for lab analysis, fluid and filter service, new raw-water impellers, a
valve-lash adjustment on both mains and new genuine MAN air filters, followed by dockside running tests.

Service records are available on request. As with any yacht, I recommend a full survey and sea trial before you buy. Always. The
records give you and your surveyor a clear place to start.
