Been at the Helm.

I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, where life around the water started early. Growing up around boats and marinas, I learned from my grandfather that patience, integrity, and hard work are the foundation of any real profession. Those values still guide how I approach both business and relationships today.

My career on the water began working aboard casino vessels in Jacksonville, Florida, before relocating to Louisiana to work in the offshore oil industry as an AB Special. That experience offshore taught me discipline, problem-solving, and how to operate under pressure in demanding environments. From there, I transitioned into the yachting industry, working my way up from deckhand to first mate and eventually captain aboard a wide variety of vessels.

Over the years, I earned my 500-ton USCG Master's License and commanded yachts from some of the most respected builders in the industry, including Hatteras, Viking Yachts, Westport Yachts, and Sunseeker. That firsthand operational experience gives me something most brokers simply do not have. I know these boats from the engine room to the bridge, not just from a brochure or spec sheet.

Before moving fully into yacht sales, I founded and operated my own yacht management company, overseeing vessels, crew, maintenance programs, logistics, and owner operations for a wide range of clients. That hands-on background gave me a deeper understanding of ownership costs, vessel management, refit strategy, and what truly matters to owners beyond the transaction itself.

My brokerage career brought me through smaller operations to make a gradual transition to Peck Yachts, Allied Marine, and Denison Yachting before joining Luke Brown Yachts as a Partner, one of the oldest and most respected yacht brokerages in Florida. Today, while I am based between Fort Lauderdale and my home in Delray Beach with my fiancée Anna, golden retriever Banksy, and Brussels Griffon Bruce, I actively represent buyers and sellers worldwide and regularly travel to properly service my clients and their vessels.

Clients have described me as “amazingly attentive, 24/7”, the type of broker who answers the phone, shows up when needed, rolls up his sleeves, and gets deals across the finish line. Many clients have come back multiple times over the years, and that repeat business remains the metric I value most.
