Atlante Yachts Launches Classic 35 Series with Modern Explorer Yacht Cabana

Atlante Yachts Unveils First Classic 35 Series Yacht

Atlante Yachts has marked a significant milestone with the launch of the first unit in its Classic 35 series, which recently set sail from Mengi Yay's shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. This vessel, named Cabana, is a 34.5-meter model commissioned by a seasoned Northern European owner in 2022. The yacht represents a modern take on the full displacement explorer yacht, showcasing Atlante Yachts' dedication to an all-Italian design ethos.

The development of Cabana began as a 33-meter concept under 300 gross tons. However, during the design process, it evolved into a long-range explorer yacht with a gross tonnage of 330. Paolo Dose of VYD Studio, who played a pivotal role in the design, described Cabana as a "unique project" that came to fruition through a blend of craftsmanship, engineering, and international collaboration.

Cabana: A Modern Full Displacement Explorer Yacht

Cabana's design is the result of a collaboration between VYD Studio, responsible for both the exterior and interior aesthetics, and Arrabito Naval Architects, who handled the naval architecture. The yacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, which are IMO Tier III certified to comply with the latest emission standards. This ensures that Cabana not only performs efficiently but also adheres to environmental regulations.

With a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles, Cabana is well-equipped for extended voyages. The yacht's layout achieves a balance between length, beam, and volume, offering features typically found in larger vessels. This design philosophy ensures a harmonious distribution of space for accommodation, living, exterior, and technical areas.

Luxurious Design and Features of Cabana Revealed

Cabana's interior showcases a contemporary style characterized by floor-to-ceiling windows, light-wood wall paneling, and a soothing color palette of blues and greys. The design process involved significant input from the owners, who selected high-quality Italian materials and fabrics to enhance the yacht's aesthetic and functional appeal.

The yacht's leisure amenities include a beach club with an unfolding transom and extensive entertainment areas across its three decks. The hardtop sundeck serves as the main communal area, featuring fixed sunpads, an al fresco dining space with U-shaped sofa seating, and a dry bar. These features ensure that Cabana provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience for its guests.

The launch of Cabana signifies a new chapter for Atlante Yachts, showcasing their commitment to innovative design and engineering excellence. As the first in the Classic 35 series, Cabana sets a high standard for future models. The second unit in this series is currently available for purchase, with delivery expected in the first quarter of 2027.
