Azimut 80 Carat for Sale: AZURE Is Now $799,500
AZURE, a stabilized 2004 Azimut 80 Carat in Miami, is now $799,500 after a $100,000 reduction. Major 2021 to 2023 refit. Five staterooms.

AZURE just got a lot more interesting.
Her owner has reduced the asking price by $100,000. This 2004 Azimut 80 Carat for sale in Miami moved from $899,500 to $799,500. That puts a stabilized, twin MTU, five-stateroom Italian flybridge within reach of buyers who may have been shopping smaller.
If you've been looking at 60 to 70 footers and wondering what it would take to step up, this is worth a conversation.
What the Price Reduction Means for You
A price drop by itself doesn't tell you much. What matters is what you're getting at that number.
With AZURE, the answer is a boat where the expensive work has already been done. Between 2021 and 2023, her owner put money into the items a surveyor looks at first: new generators, updated onboard systems, refreshed interiors, and modern electronics.
That's the difference between buying a project and buying a yacht you can actually use.
The market has normalized. Buyers have leverage again, and there's room to make a smart purchase without chasing anything in a bidding war. A well-maintained 80-footer at this price is exactly the kind of opportunity that rewards a buyer who does proper due diligence. Performance and Range

AZURE runs twin MTU 12V 2000 M91 diesels, each rated at 1,500 horsepower. That's 3,000 horsepower combined.
She cruises around 22 knots and tops out near 27. A run to Palm Beach or across to the Berry Islands becomes part of the day, not the whole day.
Her engines show 3,240 and 3,034 hours. Those are sensible figures for a yacht of her age and type. More importantly, both mains were recently serviced in a real way:
- New fuel injectors
- Rebuilt electronic unit pumps
- Heat exchangers and charge air coolers removed, ultrasonically cleaned, and reinstalled
The shafts were also pulled and aligned. That kind of work tells you an owner has been paying attention.
She carries 1,484 gallons of fuel and 410 gallons of fresh water. Her draft is 6 feet, 6 inches, which keeps the Bahamian anchorages on the table that deeper boats have to skip. Her ABT stabilizers have been serviced, so a beam sea at anchor is a lot more comfortable for everyone aboard.
Inside the Azimut 80 Carat: Layout and Living Space

Stefano Righini designed the 80 Carat with a long, low profile. Inside, that translates to a bright, open main salon. The dining table and entertainment center were freshly refinished, and the veneer gives the space a warm, polished feel.
AZURE has five staterooms, five heads, and dedicated crew quarters. That layout fits how most owners actually use an 80-footer. Family in the master. Friends or kids in the guest cabins. Crew forward and out of the way.
There's enough privacy that a week aboard feels like a week away, not a week in close quarters.
The small upgrades say a lot too. Cruisair climate control keeps her comfortable through a South Florida summer. An upgraded water heater means the last guest to shower doesn't lose out. These are the details of a boat that's been lived on, not just stored.
The Flybridge and Deck Spaces

Up top is where an Azimut of this generation really shines. You get a commanding helm with modern electronics, a generous sunpad, and a wraparound dinette under the hardtop.
Fresh varnish on the cap rails catches the late afternoon light. New white and blue bicolor exterior lighting gives her a clean look after dark, whether she's tied up in Coconut Grove or on the hook off Cat Cay.
Is This Azimut 80 Carat for Sale the Right Fit?
Here's how I'd think about it.
If you want an 80-foot stabilized flybridge with real range, room for family and guests, and a refit already behind her, AZURE checks a lot of boxes at $799,500.
If you're a first-time buyer at this size, you'll want a clear picture of what ownership looks like. Dockage, crew, and operating costs all vary depending on how and where you plan to use her. That's part of what I help clients map out before they make an offer, not after.
I know AZURE's refit history well, and I can walk you through what's been done, what's next, and what that means for your plans. [External link suggestion: an Azimut 80 Carat model review on Boat International or Yachting World]
