Baglietto T54 First Hull Moves to La Spezia for Outfitting Ahead of 2027 Delivery
First Baglietto T54 moves to outfitting in La Spezia; 54m, sub‑500GT, hybrid-ready, 2027 delivery.

Baglietto T54 first unit moves to outfitting in La Spezia
The first T54 hull has been moved into Baglietto’s La Spezia facilities to begin the outfitting phase. The 54-metre superyacht will undergo final construction and fit-out work ahead of a scheduled delivery in 2027; the sale was announced in October and was brokered with support from SuperYachtsMonaco. Technical consultancy for the project is being provided by Arrow Monaco, which will represent the owner through the remaining stages of construction.
Baglietto has confirmed a second T54 is already under construction on speculation, with delivery planned for 2028. Bringing the first hull into outfitting marks a key milestone in the programme and allows the yard to progress systems installation, interior completion and sea-trial preparations at its La Spezia facility.
Design, layout and technical specs: Paszkowski’s T54
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski as an evolution of the T52, the T54 retains the same classic, masculine lines while increasing internal volume; Baglietto has stated the model will still register just under 500GT. The exterior layout extends the T52’s aft arrangement across three interconnected levels but enlarges that volume to accommodate a proper lounge area surrounding an infinity pool, plus a wellness suite with spa and gym directly accessible from the beach platform.
The model also offers a larger sundeck of approximately 150 square metres and a skylounge that preserves the range’s three-sided opening. Interior details remain largely undisclosed, although Baglietto cites an expanded master suite with private veranda and an additional upper-deck guest cabin made possible by the extra length. Technical spaces have been reorganised so the main saloon can open directly onto the outer deck via floor-to-ceiling glazing. Propulsion is based on Caterpillar C32 engines for a top speed of about 16 knots, with provisions for hybrid propulsion compatibility.
Programme outlook: deliveries, orders and yard strategy
Baglietto currently has 11 yacht projects either on order or under construction, demonstrating a broad production pipeline that includes a 56-metre custom build penned by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design. The decision to build a second T54 on speculation reflects a strategy to shorten lead times for clients and to capitalise on market demand for this particular platform.
Baglietto’s commercial leadership frames the T54 as a deliberate step in the yard’s product evolution, informed by market feedback and aimed at balancing innovation with the shipyard’s established identity. With outfitting underway for the first hull, technical consultancy in place and a follow-on unit scheduled for 2028, the programme now moves into systems integration, interior completion and commissioning ahead of the 2027 handover.
