SOLD: 2021 Formula 430 All Sport Crossover | Quality Yachting

This one is closed. The 2021 Formula 430 All Sport Crossover has officially sold, and I had the honor of representing both the buyer and the seller on this transaction.

That does not happen by accident. It happens when both sides trust you to do right by them. I take that seriously every time.

About This Vessel

The Formula 430 ASC is one of those boats that genuinely does everything well. At 43 feet with a 12-foot beam, it sits in a category that gives you real offshore capability without the complexity of a full sportfish or motoryacht. It runs, it fishes, it entertains, it overnights. That kind of versatility is hard to find at this level.

This particular example was about as clean as they come. One owner, professionally maintained, 279 hours on quad Mercury 400R Verado outboards. Those engines alone tell you a lot about the boat's ownership philosophy. The 400R is the most desirable powerplant Formula installs on this platform, and finding a 2021 example with that few hours is genuinely uncommon.

The build was fully loaded. Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer, Mercury joystick piloting with SkyHook digital anchor, bow thruster, triple Raymarine Axiom XL chartplotters, electric outriggers, 30,000 BTU cockpit air conditioning, and a custom Imron-painted hull with color-coordinated engines. The cabin had a full galley, stand-up head with shower, private stateroom, and all the amenities you would expect at this price point. Nothing was missing.

What Made This Deal Work

Dual representation gets a lot of scrutiny in this industry, and rightfully so. When done right, it is one of the most efficient outcomes for everyone involved. Both parties were fully informed, both sides were treated fairly, and the transaction moved cleanly from offer to closing.

My job in any deal is not to squeeze one side for the other. It is to find the number that makes sense, ensure the vessel is accurately represented, and move the process forward without drama. That is what happened here.

The inspection process on this boat confirmed what the listing presented: a meticulously kept vessel with genuine low hours, transferable Mercury warranties through May 2026, and HullMaxx bottom protection already in place. No surprises. No renegotiating at the dock.

That is what pre-purchase diligence looks like when it is done properly.

What This Sale Reflects

Quality sport crossover boats like this Formula 430 have real demand right now. Buyers who want offshore capability, genuine overnight accommodations, and serious outboard performance are not finding many options at this level. When a clean one surfaces, the window to act is short.

This seller was motivated. The buyer was ready. The vessel was accurately represented. Everything lined up, and we got it done.

Congratulations to both parties on a smooth closing.

Thinking About Buying or Selling?

If you are a seller, getting representation that can reach the right buyers efficiently is everything. A well-prepared listing, honest presentation, and a broker with real relationships moves faster and cleaner than the alternative.

If you are a buyer in this category, the inventory exists right now. But you need someone who will get in front of the boat before you waste a trip. I travel to inspect vessels personally. I send honest walkthroughs showing exactly what is there, good and bad. You make decisions based on real information, not a marketing sheet.

That is what I do.

Reach out directly and let's figure out what the right move looks like for your situation.
